You can get married any day of the week except Sunday. You must be at City Hall the day before to present your passport.
Can we book a date at Frederiksberg Town Hall as soon as The Danish Family Court has approved my wedding in Denmark?
Yes, you can. Frederiksberg City Hall has a waiting time for wedding dates of about two weeks. As soon as The Danish Family Court approves your wedding, we will book a wedding date with you at Frederiksberg City Hall.
Can we bring our witnesses to the wedding ceremony?
Yes, you can bring two witnesses. You must let us know if you have any witnesses to inform the staff at Wedding Office.
If you do not have the opportunity to take witnesses, then Frederiksberg City Hall will provide witnesses.
What days should we present the documents?
You must attend the Frederiksberg City Hall one day before your wedding day. The Wedding Office is open from Monday to Friday.
One important note is, if you want to get married on Mondays, you must come to Frederiksberg City Hall on Fridays.
