What days can we get married at Esbjerg City Hall?
You can get married on Friday.
Can I book a date and time at Esbjerg City Hall as soon as the Agency of Family Law has approved my wedding in Denmark?
When the Agency of Family Law send us e-mail that your application for marriage is approved, we will immediately book a date and time for your wedding day at Esbjerg City Hall.
Can we bring our witnesses to the wedding ceremony?
Yes, you can bring two witnesses. You must let us know if you have any witnesses so we can inform the staff at Wedding Office.
If you do not have the opportunity to take witnesses, then Esbjerg City Hall will provide witnesses.
What days should we present the documents?
You must attend Esbjerg City Hall for half an hour before your wedding day. The Wedding Office is open Friday between 9 am to 1 pm.
You must bring all the original passport and if so the residency permits to present them to the staff at the wedding office.
